Al Fico, the long-awaited Italian restaurant from Vino Vino owners Jeff Courington and Kelly Bell, is set to launch on Monday, October 26. The menu focuses on simple traditional dishes like wood-fired pizza and pastas to accompany the completely Italian wine list. The kitchen team includes executive chef Clinton Bertrand and pastry chef Kendall Melton.
Eater photographer Robert J. Lerma goes inside the old school restaurant, who said the space had a "New York feel." The floors are lined with black and white tiles. On the walls are black and white photographs of Italy shot by photographer Nils Juul-Hansen during a recent trip with Courington. Seating arrangements include tables and booths. There's also a second dining room and bar.
