The Rotten Bunch, a new wine bar and restaurant in Cedar Park, will debut tomorrow, Wednesday, October 21. Co-owners Alan Thomas and Arik Slot Williams, who is also the executive chef, aim to create a place where wine was approachable for diners. "It’s just rotten grape juice," Williams previously told Eater. The wine bar took over the former Waterloo Ice House building on 14900 Avery Ranch Boulevard.

Everything on the menu, from meat and cheese plates to risotto, is meant to complement wine. There’s a dedicated section for grains and vegetables, along with appetizers and desserts. The retail space, dubbed the bodega area, will sell wine and beer bottles, charcuterie, and cheese. While there will be a patio, it won’t be open just yet.

Williams is also the current co-owner (along with Thomas) and executive chef of underrated restaurant Bartlett’s. The Rotten Bunch will be open from Tuesday to Thursday and Sunday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. until midnight. Happy hour will be available from 4 to 6 p.m.
