Nadia Chaudhury is the editor of Eater Austin covering food and pop culture, as well as a photographer, writer, and frequent panel moderator and podcast guest.

— False alarm: Ozzy Osbourne canceled his Lockhart barbecue trip. Roy Perez, pitmaster of Kreuz Market, wrote on Facebook that he "jumped the gun" and Osbourne called off the trek.

— Daniel Vaughn looked up what the most busy days and times for several barbecue restaurants using that Google function. Saturdays are busy at Salt Lick, dinner is always popular at Freedmen's, and the wait is nonexistent at Micklethwait Craft Meats on Tuesdays. He noted that Franklin Barbecue’s and La Barbecue’s information wasn’t available yet.

— East Side Pies will be expanding its Rosewood location. It purchased the building where the pizza shop is located, which included next-door neighbor Trailer Space, the record store and music venue.

— Wheatsville Food Co-op is getting into the grocery delivery game by partnering up with service Instacart, following the leads of HEB and Whole Foods. This would mean people could order deliveries of the store’s take on vegan-friendly Red Rabbit Doughnuts.
