Thundercloud Subs in San Marcos, Kerbey Lane’s Pink Pancakes; More

SAN MARCOS — Thundercloud Subs, the Austin-based sandwich shop open since 1975, will open a new location in San Marcos. Many will remember that there was a location near Texas State’s campus from 1991 to 1996, but alas, it could not survive the student-less summers. The new spot will be just off Highway 123 and has a convenient drive-thru. It will open to the public on Wednesday, October 21. [EaterWire]
