East Austin is the star of The Daytripper’s seventh season premiere. Host Chet Garner checked out the cold brew coffees of crowler-less Cuvee Coffee, butchering at Salt & Time, and food truck offerings from East Side King Thai Kun at Whisler’s. The episode airs tonight on KLRU, Thursday, October 1 at 8:30 p.m. Watch the trailer below.

In 2011, Garner explored the food trucks of South Congress, specifically Torchy’s Tacos, Bananarchy, and now shuttered Man Bites Dog.
