Help John Mueller Find Who Stole His Barbecue Pit

Irascible pitmaster John Mueller’s barbecue trailer is down one large pit after it was stolen on Wednesday, according to his Twitter. He discovered it was missing on Thursday Wednesday morning, since the trailer is closed on Wednesday Tuesday, and filed a police report. He’s hoping that nearby bar St. Roch’s security camera would have captured something, since it overlooks John Mueller Meat Company. Anyone with any information should reach out to Mueller or the police.

Despite that, since he still has his second pit, the trailer will open at its usual time today. He’s also heading into Houston this weekend for Q for a Cause, benefitting homeless veterans, but the Austin trailer will remain open, too.
