New Pastry Chef at Lenoir; Arro's New Happy Hour; Booze Class at Schoolhouse Pub

CHEF SHUFFLE — Lenoir has hired a new pastry chef, Thomas Calhoun, who has also worked at LaV and Uchi. Expect his seasonally rotating desserts to balance "sweet, salty, savory and texture," according to a press release. [Eaterwire]

HAPPY HOUR UPDATE — Arro has revamped their happy hour. From 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. on weekdays, they will offer $5 draughts, $3 off any wine by the glass, $8 signature cocktails, $10 Cheese Boards, and $10 Chef’s Boards. [Eaterwire]

BOOZE SCHOOL — Schoolhouse Pub will host a monthly class series every second Monday in 2015. First up on Monday, January 12: wine-based cocktails.
