SOUTH LAMAR — Barley Swine’s first beer dinner of 2015 will be hosted with Ranger Creek Brewing on Sunday, January 11 at 6pm. The evening includes the chance to talk to the brewers and chefs during passed appetizers, followed by a six-course meal paired with the San Antonio beers. BOOZE WIRE — Death & Co, the New York-based cocktail bar, will launch its booze book, Death & Co: Modern Classic Cocktails on a whirlwind Texas tour this month. The Austin stop will take place at Half Step on Monday, January 12 from 6-9pm. The $55 ticket includes a copy of the book and drinks made by the authors. [EaterWire]
