The most popular cuisine in Texas is, surprise surprise, Tex-Mex, as discovered by the Huffington Post and Yelp. The map the duo produced reveals the favored fare in all 50 U.S. states based on data gathered from the listings site. They pulled the number of restaurants represented by each category within the states, and then compared that to the national averages per type of food. For Texas, the rest of the top five list included the runner-up Cajun, barbecue (finally), Mexican, and then, inexplicably, chicken wings, which doesn't really qualify as cuisine.
