Those scamps at the Alamo Drafthouse are unleashing more wild moving pairings with their special Japanese pizza menu, as created by executive chef Jason Donoho and co-founder Tim League. The four pizzas are inspired by the "over-the-top pizza culture" in Japan: the Okonomiyaki, with pork and shrimp; the Big Dog, with, of course, hot dogs and tons of cheese and bacon; the Mac and Cheese Surprise; and the sweets-loaded Kit Kat Krazy. The $12 pizzas are being offered at the Drafthouse South Lamar on during screenings of Drafthouse Films’ R100 as well as during the movie marathon honoring the director, Hitoshi Matsumoto, on Sunday, January 18.
Peruse the gallery from R100's premiere below. In addition to the pizzas, they also offered a smushed sushi roll, perhaps in reference to the film's focus on dominatrixes?
