New Craft Brewery Zilker Sets Up Shop on East 6th

Another craft brewery will join the booming East Austin brewing scene. Permits popped up for Zilker Brewing Company at 1701 E. 6th Street, across from The Grackle. The brewery specializes in "the American Belgo style," according to their Facebook page, and will package their beer solely in cans. Founders Forrest Clark, Patrick Clark, and Michael Rodriguez recently took delivery of their first set of tanks. Nearby, sour beer specialists Blue Owl Brewing also recently landed on the east side.
