Springdale Farm Aid; Hi Hat's Old 45's Event; Peche Welcomes High West Distillery

Lots of chefs come out to support Springdale Farm, Hi Hat mixes vintage vinyl and kegs, and High West offers free tasting at Peche.

EAST SIDE — Chefs from many of Austin's finest restaurants will rally to support Springdale Farm this Sunday, September 28. The $50 tickets include bites from Olamaie, Swift's Attic, Odd Duck/Barley Swine and many other restaurants, as well as Austin Eastciders and more. The event runs from 1-5 p.m., and will raise money for Springdale as they navigate Austin's changing urban farm codes. [Eaterwire]

EAST 6TH — Hi Hat Public House will host another Old 45's event tonight, September 24. The event will feature a vintage keg of 2013 Dogfish Head Immort Ale, old 45 records spun by DJ Grossyall, and 7" pizzas. [Eaterwire]

DOWNTOWN — Peche will host a tasting with High West Distillery tomorrow at 8 p.m. The High West Texas manager Chris Furtado will be in attendance sampling a number of their whiskies and other offerings. There will be complimentary bites from Peche, and the event is open to the public. [Eaterwire]
