Fork & Taco Unleashes Fusiony New School Tacos on Burnet Today

The latest entry into Austin's robust taco scene opens on Burnet Road today. Fork + Taco will serve fusiony tacos like a five-spice pulled pork on handmade tortillas, as well as soft serve ice cream. Chef Casey Fannin is an Uchi veteran, and his approach fits into Austin's growing category of non-traditional (and fancy) tacos like Torchy's, Tacodeli, and East Side King South Lamar.

Here's a tour of the restaurant, which mixes a fast casual atmosphere with playful touches like gold letters and a deconstructed taco mural. Several bloggers filed first looks from the media preview, too. Hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
