Stylish Modernist Diner Sawyer & Co. Opening Very Soon

New-Orleans inspired diner Sawyer & Co., one of fall's most anticipated openings, will unleash cocktails and blue plate specials very soon. The restaurant received their certificate of occupancy, and they tweeted plans to open next week. Co-owner Mickie Spencer transformed the former Arkie's space with gloriously retro design. Like, astroturf patio retro. Stephen Shallcross of Swoop House is behind the project, which is intended to serve as a neighborhood restaurant for the burgeoning Cesar Chavez corridor.
