Newest East Cesar Chavez restaurant project Pitchfork Pretty will open in a new structure in 2015. The Chronicle has some details on the project, slated for the former site of a thrift store:
After some years in San Diego, native Texan Seth Baas is back in the Lone Star State, working on a restaurant project in East Austin. Plans call for tearing down the existing structure on the lot to make way for a stylish, contemporary A-frame . . . He's already secured a lease on a contiguous lot for parking and is navigating the city permit phase now.
City records indicate plans for a 2,500 square foot building, though no changes to the site have been approved.
