East Side King's Thai Kun Trailer is Number 8 on Bon Appétit's Top 10

Bon Appétit announced its Hot 10 best new restaurants in America today, and an Austin food truck makes the list at number 8. East Side King's latest project Thai Kun, currently parked behind East 6th bar Wonderland, makes the list for the "O.G. Thai" served up by chef Thai Changthong in collaboration with Paul Qui and the rest of the ESK team.

East Side King opened Thai Kun this March; previously, Changthong was part of the team at the now-shuttered Spin Modern Thai. San Antonio's temple of "pan Asian stoner food" Hot Joy lands at number 7 on the list for its " wide-ranging, irreverent, and profoundly irresistible menu." Two other hot-as-hell Austin restaurants, Qui and Odd Duck, were amongst the top 50 finalists for 2014.
