Farmers market stalwarts Dai Due are preparing to open their hotly anticipated new butcher shop and restaurant on Manor Road some day very, very soon (to find out exactly when, you'd best be signed up for their newsletter, as they say subscribers will get exclusive invites to any soft opening events). In the meantime, here's a look inside the very-nearly-completed space in all its crisp white and navy blue glory, complete with cow skulls, red brick and an intriguingly patterned hardwood floor. When Dai Due does finally open, expect to find the same hyper-local, seasonal fare they've become known for over the past seven years at the farmers market, plus local beers and Texas wines, plenty of pickled items, housemade seasonal sodas, and that shiny new butcher case fully stocked with sausages and local grass-fed steaks.
