Pleasant Storage Room Launches Lunch; LaV's 'Flights and Bites' Class; Houndstooth and Argus Pairing Class

DOWNTOWN — Newly opened island street food restaurant and bar Pleasant Storage Room will now offer lunch. Their full menu will be available starting at 11 a.m. Tuesday - Friday, along with a cocktail menu and cuban coffees. [Eaterwire]

EAST 7THLaV launches a "Flights and Bites" series a "light-hearted wine and food pairing event" this month. The first class will be held Wednesday, July 23 and will feature summer-appropriate small plates from chef Allison Jenkins with wine pairings and tastings guided by sommelier Vilma Maizate. DOWNTOWNHoundstooth Coffee teams up with Argus Cidery for a coffee and cider pairing class July 15. Wes Mickel, the owner of Argus, will work with Houndstooths' head "coffee coach" Daniel Reed to showcase Japanese cold-brewed coffee and Argus's inventive ciders and tepaches.
