Lauded barbecue trailer La Barbecue is on the move again, this time to E. Cesar Chavez. The Statesman reports that La Barbecue will move to new Good Life Food Park from its current home on East 6th. Perhaps there will be less potty-flipping there.
The Good Life opened earlier this spring, and has been steadily collecting popular Austin trucks like Hey Cupcake and Fishy Business. Their former barbecue tenant Fullhouse Barbecue has moved to a new food park in Georgetown at 402 W. Morrow.
La Barbecue's Ali Clem tells Eater the food park made "an offer we could not refuse," and offers an opportunity to build a third pit and smoke as many as 30 more briskets a day. La Barbecue is slated to move in early August, and hours will remain Wednesday - Sunday 11 a.m. until sold out.
