Looks like chef and restauranteur Jack Gilmore has another new project in the works: a cookbook. Jack Allen's Kitchen: Celebrating the Tastes of Texas is co-authored with local writer Jessica Dupuy and is slated for release October 15, 2014. The Amazon listing describes the book as a mixture of seasonal recipes and profiles of Central Texas farmers and purveyors.
Dupuy previous coauthored the Uchi and Salt Lick cookbooks. Jack Gilmore runs the successful and growing mini-chain Jack Allen's Kitchen, which focuses on locally-sourced and seasonal comfort food.
