A Dangerously Delicious Pies Truck is Coming to Austin

Baltimore rock 'n roll pie man Rodney Henry of Dangerously Delicious Pies is expanding his pastry empire to Austin. Henry tells The Baltimore Sun that he's leaving Baltimore for Austin, where he will open a pie truck outside of East Austin bar The Lost Well. He explains Austin's food truck/bar ecosystem thusly:

"It gives people with their own bars a built-in food operation, and people running the food don't have to get involved in the liquor business, Henry said. "It's the perfect set-up. It's awesome."
According to a Facebook posting, the pie truck is set to get rolling by the end of September, and will feature sweet and savory pies. Henry was a contestant on Food Network Star, and operates pie shops in Washington D.C. and Detroit in addition to the original Baltimore location, all of which Henry says are still "rocking."
