Barack Obama is on an Austin roll. First ribs by barbecue villain John Mueller, then an El Presidente taco from Fresa's. Now he's visiting what White House Press secretary Josh Earnest calls 'legit local institution' Magnolia Cafe.
Obama is meeting Kinsey Button, the UT student who wrote a letter to the president and will now introduce him when he speaks at the Paramount Theater. Not a bad reason to visit Magnolia, but to be truly legit, Obama should be eating there at 2:30 a.m. in order to stave off a hangover. Check out their lunch meeting below.
Update! Reports indicate Obama did not eat any food, only drank tea.
