There's a chef shuffle afoot at The Carillon: executive chef Josh Watkins is out at the restaurant. The Statesman reports that Watkins is "no longer in the kitchen" and the rest of the staff remains on board.
Watkins opened The Carillon at the AT&T Executive Center in 2008 after working under David Bull at The Driskill. The chef talked up plans to open is own "high end" barbecue restaurant at Austin Food & Wine this year.
