An employee of the Alamo Drafthouse Lakeline has sued the company, alleging an unfair minimum wage and tip pooling. The Austin Business Journal has the details:

According to court documents, Shane Michaels worked as a server at the Alamo Drafthouse Lakeline since it opened in July 2013. . . . During his time there, Michaels and other servers were paid about $2.13 an hour, filing documents allege. The suit further alleges that the Drafthouse knew or disregarded that it was failing to pay servers minimum wage for all hours worked.
The suit also alleges bartenders with little to no customer contact were improperly included in the tip pool. A rep for the Drafthouse had no comment on the suit.
