Hotly anticipated Terry Black's Barbecue aims to meld Lockhart tradition with Austin's technique-obsessed approach to smokey meats. Twin brothers and pitmasters Mike and Mark Black are the fourth generation of the Lockhart-based Black family to go into the barbecue business, and their restaurant is named in honor of their father, Terry. The busy soft opening over the weekend was a family affair, and Eater photographer Robert J. Lerma captures the scene.
