Oh look, Container Bar now has its very own food trailer. Owner Bridget Dunlap told Eater last September that the trailer would be called Thaitanium and would feature Thai street food, but it looks like they've deviated from that plan slightly: Instead it bears the only-slightly-less-punny moniker Dang Trailer and features Malaysian street food.
The Dang Trailer is brought to you by the same team responsible for the food at Dunlap's East Sixth restaurant Mettle, led by chef Andrew Francisco. Menu items include fries topped with shishito peppers and sweet chili aioli, a brisket curry wrap on paratha bread with housemade pickles, and lemongrass pork cheeks over noodles; add a fried egg to anything for two bucks because hey why not? The Dang Trailer is currently serving up those dishes and more daily from 6:00 p.m.-1:30 a.m..
