Austin will celebrate all things rum, Hawaiian-print, and tiny umbrella-garnished when the third annual Texas Tiki Week rolls around next week from June 23 to 30, presented by the United States Bartenders' Guild. Participating bars and events include the Tiki Week Kick Off with drink.well's homage to the "Rock a Hula Luau" scene from Grease 2 featuring a tiki variation on the classic Pink Lady cocktails, and the Alamo Drafthouse at Slaughter Lane's Cinema Cocktails screening of Blue Hawaii, with a tiki menu concocted by the theater's beverage director Bill Norris and 400 Rabbits on June 26.

Scope out the official Texas Tiki Week website for the full schedule of events and ticket information; while some of the events are open only to USBG members and invited guests, several are open to the rum-swilling public including the two aforementioned events.
