The Gelato World Tour; Tamale House Cooks Headed to Tamale House East; Uchi's Craft Beer Dinner

DOWNTOWN — The Gelato World tour is here, which means there's an unprecedented selection of incredible gelato to eat in Republic Square Park from now until Sunday, May 11. Hours are Friday 10 a.m. - 10 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. - 10 p.m., with free gelato for moms. Check out the full run-down of flavors below.

EAST SIXTH — Great news for fans of the shuttering Tamale House: much of the original kitchen staff has been hired by Tamale House East according to blogger RL Reeves. [Scrumptious Chef]

SOUTH LAMAR — On Monday, May 12, Uchi will celebrate American Craft Beer Week with a special seven course meal paired with local brews from Jester King and Hops and Grain. Uchiko will host their own dinner later in the week. [Eaterwire]
