Food truck Slab BBQ is the latest entrant into Austin's ever-expanding barbecue market. Their restaurant is slated to open by midsummer in the former Texas Rib Kings space on Research Boulevard. Here's co-owner Mark Avalos with their coming soon sign; the truck will remain open as well.
