Franklin Barbecue to Close Temporarily Pre-Smokehouse

Franklin Barbecue's new smokehouse is getting ever-closer, and the insanely popular barbecue mecca just announced they will now close temporarily as a part of the process. The restaurant tweets that they will shut their doors from June 23 - July 7 to work on renovations and the smokehouse. They will reopen July 8.

Here's a look at the design for the finished product; the smokehouse will finally allow Franklin's team to create their smokey meats without having to brave the elements.
