Raw, Vegan Specialists Beets Cafe to Shutter June 28

Raw, vegan restaurant Beets Cafe has will shutter next month after five years in business. The restaurant announced via Facebook that they have lost their lease since the West 5th location's rent was "more than we can bear."

There are plans afoot to "to reinvent and create new possibilities for Beets in 2015." The restaurant will remain open until June 28, and a goodbye party is in the works for June 27.
