DOWNTOWN—Peche will host Sicilian chef, author and cooking instructor Fabrizia Lanza for a four-course paired wine dinner this Thursday at 7 p.m. The menu includes dishes such as stewed lamb with mint and saffron potatoes and ravioli with almond-sage pesto, each paired with wines from Lanza's winery, Tasca d'Almerita. NORTHWEST—The typically rather meaty Noble Sandwich Co. will host its third annual spring vegetarian dinner this Friday starting at 8 p.m. at the 620 location. Expect five courses made with local, seasonal ingredients along with beer and wine pairings; dishes on the menu this year will include asparagus carpaccio and parsnip cake with beet and poppy seed ganache. Tickets are $65 per person, gratuity included; head over to Noble Sandwich's website to RSVP. [EaterWire]

RAINEY STREET—Banger's is hosting NOLA Night tonight from 8-10 p.m. with live music by Tuba Skinny and Jon Doyle from Thrift Set Orchestra, plus a nightly feature of crawfish boudin ($12). Per the press release, "guests are encouraged to bring out their beads and get their NoLa on," but maybe leave the flashing part out of the equation? [EaterWire]
