Azul Tequila's interior Mexican cuisine has been called some of Austin's best, and their long-awaited north location is slated to open in "Spring 2014." According to some eagle-eyed Chowhounders, the location at 2222 and Dry Creek has been in the works for awhile, but there seems to be some new work going on in the space. User texasgirly says:
Their website says coming Spring 2014 and I have seen a lot of work the last few days, so there is hope....Another good sign: they've been issued a liquor license. The space has hosted a rotating series of restaurants, including Cat Mountain Grill, The Hub, and Jo Ellen's Tacos.
