Pleasant Storage Room Soft Opens This Friday, April 11

Rum-centric bar Pleasant Storage Room will ply downtown with overproof rum punch and ceviche starting this Friday, April 11. The long-anticipated project from East Side Showroom alums chef Paul Hargrove and barman Alfonso Hernandez will open with a full bar and limited menu on Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. on West 4th Street.

The limited menu includes Caribbean street food-inspired offerings like snapper ceviche, a cubano sandwich, and jerk chicken. Hernandez previous told Eater that wants to revive the "lost pastime" of punch, which they plan to serve in both in individual cups and shared bowls.
