Jack Allen's Kitchen to Open in Former Trento Space

Jack Allen's Kitchen has successfully charmed Oak Hill and Round Rock with their responsibly sourced comfort food, and now chef Jack Gilmore is opening a new location in Westlake. Earlier this week, Italian restaurant Trento shuttered in order to make way for what they called "a wonderful local brand." Eater can now confirm that brand is Eater 38 member Jack Allen's Kitchen.

The new Jack Allen's will open in "late fall" after a complete remodel of the space, according to the press release. The group is especially pleased that their new location will form a "triangle" between their existing restaurants in Oak Hill and Round Rock, as well as their outpost at the Dell Diamond. The Fourth Location of Jack Allen's Kitchen to
Open in Late Fall in the Former Trento Restaurant Location

(AUSTIN, TEXAS)—The Jack Allen's Kitchen team is pleased to announce that its fourth location is set to be housed in the former Trento Restaurant space at 3600-D Capital of Texas Hwy North, which is located at San Clemente at Davenport Center, an HPI office and retail development. Chef and owner Jack Gilmore, along with partner Tom Kamm and crew, could not be more thrilled to bring with them their focus on seasonal, fresh produce to the communities of West Austin and the Texas Hill Country. The new location, which is set to open in late fall, will form a triangle between the original location in Oak Hill and the second location in Round Rock, with the third location in the Intel Club at Dell Diamond very close by.

"We thought very long and hard about where to place our next location, and we really couldn't have found a better spot. This is where my sons grew up and went to school, and I am looking forward to serving this community and giving them a hefty helping of what our incredible local farmers and purveyors have to offer."

A complete remodel of the location is set to happen in mid-summer and will be overseen by Mann & Mann Architects (also the designers behind Jack Allen's Kitchen Oak Hill and Jack Allen's Kitchen Round Rock). And the folks at JAK couldn't have found such a special venue without the help of Scott Carr and Grant Barrett at the brokerage firm behind the deal, Carr Development, Inc.
