An intrepid barbecue hound has posted a photo for the design for Franklin Barbecue's new smokehouse, which has been in the works since last summer. The whimsical drawing appears to feature a tiny Aaron Franklin peering out the window at his ever-present line.
Franklin recently told Eater that the smokehouse would let them shift from a grueling 24 hour cooking schedule to a slightly less grueling 20 hour cycle. Franklin currently smokes his meat outside no matter the weather, and he says, "most of our labor is spent trying to compensate for all the variables to make same product every day."
