Carillon Menu Revamp; Texas VegFest This Saturday; Dallas Chef in at Omni Barton Creek

CAMPUSThe Statesman has more details on the changes afoot at The Carillon. The restaurant has recently introduced a new spring menu, with prix fixe options at the $40, $50, and $60 levels. They are also opening their lunch buffet to the public, and will soon roll out a bar menu. Minor renovations are slated for the bar and dining area. [Statesman]

VEGGIE WIRETexas VegFest takes over Fiesta Gardens this Saturday, April 5. Lots and lots of veggie-friendly food trailers will be in attendance, like Cazamance, Sweet Ritual, and, yes, vegan BBQ Revolution. [Eaterwire]

CHEF SHUFFLE — A Dallas chef is headed Austin-ward according to D Magazine. Andre Natara, formerly of Village Kitchen, will take over at the Omni Barton Creek Resort, where he will oversee their seven restaurants. [SideDish via Eater Dallas]
