Cult-inspiring ramen shop Ramen Tatsu-Ya recently announced plans to expand to South Lamar, and now chef Tatsu Aikawa tells Zagat they hope to open by the end of 2014. The details:
Construction hasn't even started yet, but they're hoping to be open by the end of the year, with similar graffiti-style art decorating the walls...Aikawa says that the restaurant will feature the same menu at first, with their signature pork-based broth and housemade noodles. It'll be just dinner to start, but they're hoping to launch lunch shortly after opening.Ramen Tatsu-Ya's original north Austin location regularly draws massive lines, and they've hinted to Eater about further expansion plans.
