Manchaca's Railroad Bar-B-Que is shuttering both their original location, opened in 1981, as well as their outpost in Kyle. Blogger Scrumptious Chef reports the shutter, and bemoans the loss of their "fried potatoes."
The restaurant posted a letter on Facebook which describes problems with the Manchaca fire marshall, as well as changes to Kyle's traffic patterns that they say resulted in a loss of business. Their Dripping Springs restaurant remains open, and they encourage customers to "keep an eye out" for new locations.
