Austin's newest craft cocktail bar is focused on the pleasures of rum. Pleasant Storage Room soft opens tonight, with a menu of punch, rum cocktails, and Caribbean street food.
The interior is partially inspired by pre-Revolutionary Havana, and features many lovingly collected vintage items as chronicled on the bar's Facebook page. East Side Showroom alum Alfonso Hernandez is managing the bar, and chef Paul Hargrove designed the menu, which includes a ceviche bar that will roll out over the next few weeks.
