EAST 7TH — The Hightower is experimenting with a lunch service from March 8 - 16 for SXSW. Their festival outing will also serve as a test run for a permanent lunch. Check out their full menu below. [Eaterwire]

SOUTH LAMAR — Barlata features flamenco dancing on alternate Sundays from 7-9 p.m. The next night kicks of on Sunday, March 9. [Eaterwire]

EAST 6TH — Shangri-La will host a mac n' cheese takedown on Sunday, March 9 from 2-4 p.m. Fifteen dollars buys unlimited mac n' cheese plus judging privileges. Cooks who wish to compete should email here. [Eaterwire]
