Rosedale Waterloo Ice House Will Be a Doc's Motorworks

Waterloo Ice House is transforming their location on 38th Street into a Doc's Motorworks, The Statesman reports. Waterloo's ownership tells The Statesman that they chose to change concepts because the location was "too small to fit the prototype of family entertainment that Waterloo has grown into (large playgrounds, game rooms, extensive bar areas)."

Waterloo has four remaining locations in Austin, and Doc's Motorworks currently operates their flagship on South Congress, as well as Doc's Backyard in Sunset Valley. Waterloo co-owner Ted Karam has a stake in both companies.
