After a week of soft openings, A-OK Chinese officially opened its doors yesterday, March 23. The Chronicle has a first look at the space, and intrepid Yelper Ben L. has posted a blurry photo of their menu. Do 512 has a clearer shot of the menu on the wall. This is just a cute picture of their takeout boxes.
A-OK is the brainchild of former Alamo Drafthouse executive chef John Bullington and industry veteran Jerry Reid. The counter service restaurant will serve American-style Chinese food, with online ordering and car-side takeout in the works. Hours are 11:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Sundays.
