Vote for Austin's Best Pizza: Round Three

Austin boasts a wealth of great pizza options that are getting better every day, but what's a food theme week without some arbitrary competition? Eater will be running polls every day this week in order to determine who has the best pizza in Austin, period.

Competitors in the first round will be paired together based on at least a passing similarity; the semi finals and finals will run on Friday to determine the city's best. Today two Austin pizza institutions face off in Home Slice vs. East Side Pies, and under-the-radar pizzerias battle with Little Deli vs. Giovanni's Pizza Stand. Polls will be open for 24 hours.
Update! Polls have closed. Little Deli was the clear winner in their heat. Home Slice and East Side Pies have nearly identical totals (314 vs. 318). Both will advance to the next round.
