Odd Duck and Barley Swine chef Bryce Gilmore is a finalist for the 2014 James Beard Award for Best Chef Southwest. Gilmore was a finalist in the same category last year; Best Chef Southwest has previously been won by Austin chefs Paul Qui and Tyson Cole.
This year, Uchi's Philip Speer and Congress's David Bull were also semi-finalists. The winners will be announced at the Beard Awards in New York on May 5. Head on over to the Eater National Mothership for the full list of finalists.
