Cooper's Barbecue Opening a Downtown Austin Location

Llano barbecue institution Cooper's Old Time Pit Bar-B-Que is expanding to downtown Austin. New restaurant space 217 Congress announced via Facebook that they'll be partnering with Cooper's after soliciting feedback on what kind of restaurant should open in the space. Cooper's projected opening is Fall 2014.

The 217 Congress space will feature indoor and outdoor seating including a rooftop garden, a full bar, and live music. Cooper's also has locations in New Braunfels and Fort Worth.
