Shake Shack is giving away burgers every night from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. during SXSW, and over the weekend Dominique Ansel gave out free Cronuts. Both of these free food fests garnered seriously epic lines, as predicted. SXSW attendees waited in the pouring rain for free Shack, and hundred queued for Ansel's creations. Check out more of the mania below.

They're letting 20 people in at a time for 15 min for cronuts. I've been standing in line for an hour and a half. C'mon @DominiqueAnsel.

"What is this line for?" "Cronuts." "What is that, like a band or something?"

BREAKING: the most dedicated crowds I've seen so far at #sxsw were for Grindr and cronuts. RELATED: Everything else that's obvious.
