Westlake is Getting a Kerbey Lane This Fall

Kerbey Lane will open their sixth location in the Village at Westlake this fall. The local chain will serve their same classic menu as in their other five locations and will feature outdoor seating. According to the press release, CEO Mason Ayer says that, "Opening more locations has always been a goal of ours."

In other Kerbey news, the original location on Kerbey Lane is no longer open 24 hours seven days a week. The restaurant's hours are 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday - Wednesday, and remains open 24 hours Thursday-Saturday.

Update! The Statesman reports that Kerbey Lane has also purchased a lot at 1806 West Braker Ln. and plans to open a seventh location there in "the next 18-24 months."

Kerbey Lane Cafe to open a 6th location in Austin

Kerbey Lane Cafe will celebrate its 34th anniversary on May 5th of this year. As a way to celebrate, or by sheer coincidence, the goal of opening a 6th location will become a reality shortly after their anniversary. Located in West Lake Hills, at 701 S. Capital of Texas Highway (the Village at Westlake), the newest Kerbey Lane Cafe location is slated to open late August or early September 2014.

"Opening more locations has always been a goal of ours," said Mason Ayer, CEO of Kerbey Lane Cafe. "We are very happy to join the West Lake Hills community," said Ayer.

West Lake Hills is a great area in Austin that is quite established and growing at a fast rate. Staying true to Kerbey Lane Cafe's local community ties, West Lake Hills is the perfect place for Kerbey Lane Cafe to start a new home.

The new location will feature the same classic menu served at the other five locations. Plans are to serve beer, wine and espresso with outside seating available.

Kerbey Lane Cafe is a local restaurant that has served up Austin style food for 33 years. There are currently 5 locations throughout Austin and most are open 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week.
