The Statesman reports that Lamar Union development's has signed on many more tenants, including approximately one million restaurants. New additions include a project from chef David Garrido, one from the team behind J. Black's, plus new locations of Daily Juice and Caffe Medici. More details from The Statesman:
Several restaurants are also part of the development, including Daily Juice, Caffe Medici coffeehouse, VOX Table, River City Market and the state's first Shake Shack, a national burger-and-shake chain with a cult following. . . .Also at Lamar Union, Emmett and Lisa Fox, owners of Asti and Fino, plan to roll out Cantine, a new restaurant concept. Local chef David Garrido and the team behind J. Black's are planning two new-to-Austin restaurant concepts, as well.Anchor tenant the Alamo Drafthouse and Highball is eyeing a summer opening. Shake Shack has previously indicated they will be open by the end of 2014.
