Pleasant Storage Room, the new rum and punch-focused bar from chef Paul Hargrove and bar manager Alfonso Hernandez, is looking to officially open their doors March 18. The bar will also be open select late nights during SXSW. From the Facebook announcement:
We are booked solidly with parties during SXSW days and will remain open with limited service until late in the evening on select days. Officially we will open the 18th of March.The bar is also officially accepting applications for all positions, including assistant GM. In addition to overproof punches and rum-focused cocktails, the bar will offer "island street food," including a ceviche bar. Both Hargrove and Hernandez are alums of East Side Showroom, where they worked with bartender and noted punch enthusiast John Kelly O'Hare, who inspired the bar's focus.
